Introducing the game on Ubisoft's official website, the developers said, "It's 2054 and technology is everywhere. It helps people survive the day-to-day grind - from neural networks to cybernetic augmentations to burgeoning AIs - but for the bottom 90%, living is tough. Many work for megacorporations to survive - these are the lucky ones. There is only one way to rise to the top... one way to change your lot in life and achieve something better: WIN THE CROWN in an intense Battle Royale in the virtual world of Hyper Scape."

Ubisoft describe this futuristic title as the only battle royale game where players will engage high and low in close encounters.

Focus on the build of the game is around interactive streaming, and they confidently state that they will change the way people watch video games by allowing content creators to interact with audiences like never before.

The game boasts a wide range of futuristic weapons and hacks, with lootable items adding the opportunity to create powerful options no matter what your play style is.

Items mentioned in the introduction include mines to seek out enemies, invisibility for stealth and even being able to shoot your character into the air and crash down on opponents with a deadly slam.

The arena, called Neo-Arcadia, will suffer decay as entire districts are deleted as the game winds to a close, forcing players to dash for the crown or take out the remaining enemies.
