The Siya crew can confirm that Jamshedpur assistant coach Mandla Zwane would be open to a South African switch either to the DStv Premiership or the Motsepe Foundation Championship should the opportunity present itself.
Zwane is currently working in India, where he made the switch to the Indian Super League outfit in December last year, although Siya sources in the know have revealed that the coach has his eyes set on a return to Mzansi as he looks for the next challenge in his career.
The 50-year-old coach spent eight years as the University of Johannesburg head coach between 2011 and 2019. He is currently in possession of a CAF A license.
"With the coach having tested himself abroad, he would be open to a new challenge closer to home, either in the PSL or in the NFD," a source told the crew. Zwane is believed to have turned down the approach of Tanzanian giants Simba, before taking up the job at Jamshedpur.
