Prior to his departure for England, Mofokeng had made 11 appearances across all competitions for the Buccaneers this season, including the final of the MTN8 which the Soweto giants won against high-flying Mamelodi Sundowns.
The 19-year-old's return should be a huge boost for coach Jose Riveiro who is aiming to guide the side to a league victory after four unsuccessful attempts.

The Soweto giants last won a league match in August against Cape Town City. They lost against Sundowns and drew against AmaZulu and Polokwane City respectively.
While an update will be expected from Pirates on Mofokeng's trial, the young star is likely to make a return to the matchday squad tonight.
