One of Kaizer Chiefs' goalkeepers wants to leave the club because of a lack of opportunities, according to an insider privy to information.
Siya sources have indicated that 20-year-old Bontle Karabo Molefe is the player who has asked the club to allow him to move to where he could play matches.

Sources have added that the South African youth international needs to get into the field to maintain his position for the junior national team.
"All he wants is to play. You know Karabo (Molefe) is an Under-20 national team goalkeeper and if he doesn't play at club level it will be difficult for him to play for the national team," said the Siya source.
"And that's why he wants to leave and play more often. But at the moment there is no club that we can say he is looking to go to but what he wants is to find one club where he can play.
"He has indicated that to the club already and they are looking at the best way to help him. The other thing is that there are still many goalkeepers he needs to compete with at Chiefs for him to play.
"They have Brandon (Petersen), Itumeleng (Khune) and Bruce (Bvuma) so his chances of playing at the moment are still very slim and a move away would help him," the source informed Soccer Laduma.
It may also be frustrating for Molefe when he's not getting an opportunity while the senior keepers have not been impressive this season so far. The keeper had suffered a hand injury at the beginning of the season which might have slowed down his progress but he was still in the plans of management.
A second source added that since Molefe had recently signed a new three-year contract until June 2026, then the club can only loan him out.
"The only possible way out now is a loan move. He still has a future at the club. The club has him in their future plans so they have no intention of selling him or releasing him," said the second source.
"What they can do is loan him out. But at the moment I am not sure of their talks as he has indicated that he wants game time so that he can maintain his position in the junior national team whether that is for Under-20 or Under-23 (level). But all he wants is a move that will help him get that game time," the source observed.
Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for comment but no response was received while this story was prepared.
