Last season Siyabonga Mabena broke the record as the youngest debutant for a DStv Premiership match, and now the Siya crew understands that Mamelodi Sundowns are in line to reward him with a long term first team contract.
Siya sources at the club have indicated that the Brazilians could have agreed a six-year contract from the 1st of July 2023.

The source added that the club may be looking at managing the 16-year-old carefully to develop his game.
"When they agreed to promote him to the senior team they had to give him a new senior team contract," said the Siya source.
"Yes, he will still be playing in the DStv Diski Challenge team but he is now a senior team player and that's why they have apparently agreed on a six-year deal to keep him at the club until he is 22-years-old and then engage him again for a new deal.
"But for now, it's that six-year deal," the source told the Siya crew.
Meanwhile another Siya source added that because Mabena is still a minor then his parents were involved in discussing his future with the club.
"He is still at school and hasn't reached 18 years of age yet, so his parents had to be involved. And all the parties involved have agreed to the terms of the new deal for the youngster," said the other Siya source.
"It's just one of the many still to come. And as it stands he will have the chance to renew it in June 2029 when he will be 22-years-old. So, the team has the chance to have him for over 20 years before he can retire or move to Europe," added the source.
Soccer Laduma contacted Sundowns for a comment but the club didn't respond while preparing this story.
