With Al Ahly sniffing around for Mamelodi Sundowns and Bafana Bafana midfielder Teboho Mokoena, the Brazilians' reported asking price for their star player has been revealed.
$3 million (±R54 million) that is how much it would take for Al Ahly to get Mokoena from Sundowns.

This price tag emerged after it was reported that the Egyptian giants had come knocking for the 27-year-old once again. According to Cairo24, Al Ahly made an approach to Sundowns, who in turn revealed their asking price for the player.
According to the report, Al Ahly have been willing to fork out around $2 million (±R36 million) for the player, a sum that falls way below Sundowns' evaluation of the player.
Al Ahly have reportedly earmarked Mokoena as a possible replacement for outgoing Aliou Dieng, with Tunisian Mohamed Ali Ben Ramadan the club's other option.
Sundowns, however, have made it clear that they are not in the business of selling players and are keen to hold onto Mokoena, more especially with the FIFA Club World Cup on the horizon in June next year.
