Cape Town City starlet Luphumlo Sifumba is currently in Armenia undergoing a trial with first division side FC Van, the Siya crew has been informed.
The much talked about teenager is in the process of engineering a move to eastern Europe, as Siya sources have indicated that he is presently experiencing a week-long trial with the Bardzraguyn khumb side.

The 19-year-old burst onto the scene during the 2022/23 campaign as he won the DStv Diski Challenge Player of the Season award. His exploits in the competition earned him a call up to the City senior side that same campaign and the young star has been touted for a move abroad ever since.
Last season, the midfielder made 12 appearances in all competitions for The Citizens under Eric Tinkler and is now looking to take the step to play European football.
Sifumba has been the target of multiple clubs but so far during this transfer window, none of his suitors have been able to pay what is believed to be the €250 000 (R5 million) valuation placed on the player.

Only five-years-old as a club, FC Van have a youthful squad, and signing the Capetonian would align with their recruitment policy thus far.
Sources close to the situation have indicated to Soccer Laduma that City have received an offer from the Charentsavan-based club, as they now await to see the outcome and finalise a potential deal.
