With Kaizer Chiefs working on finalising their pre-season plans, the club's incoming coach Nasreddine Nabi is expected to arrive in Naturena in the coming days but there's a new complication.
On the weekend, French coach Fernando da Cruz arrived in Mzansi to link up with Chiefs where he will be working as one of Nabi's technical team members.

Meanwhile, Nabi was in charge on Sunday for Moroccan club AS FAR Rabat as they beat Maghreb de Fes in the semi-finals of the Throne Cup.
With AS FAR now waiting for the winner of another semi-final on Tuesday between former Orlando Pirates coach Josef Zinnbauer's Raja Casablanca and MC Oujda, Nabi is expected to discuss the way forward with his employers.
According to sources, Chiefs had plans to finish the month with their pre-season preparations up to date, with Nabi an integral part of the club's plans.
But with the team now set to play in the final, there could be a dilemma with regards to the plans for the coach's early arrival although it is understood that the parties are pushing for it to happen before the end of this week.
As confirmed to the Siya crew by close sources, Nabi's contract in Morocco is set to expire at the end of this month.
With the contract ending, the big question for many in the fraternity is whether it is obligatory for the mentor to go to the final.

Speaking to the Siya crew, Kabelo Mashigo from K4 Alchemy Consult discussed what could take place in Nabi's situation.
"Contracts are mainly for a fixed period, and I would assume that even with this coach, come end of the month (30 June 2024), the contract would end. There is no obligation on him to provide services after the end date in the same way the club would not be expected to pay him after the end date," said Mashigo.
"But you can always agree to a short extension till the end of that cup run," the attorney concluded.
It is highly possible that the final will be set for Sunday, 30 June which would then make it easier for Nabi to coach AS FAR without any complications.
The Tunisian has already expressed his desire to honour the Moroccan cup final, so Chiefs are expected to wait a few days longer to welcome their new coach.
