Kaizer Chiefs are believed to have opened talks with a goalkeeper who could be Itumeleng Khune's replacement, the Siya crew can exclusively reveal.
It was recently reported by Soccer Laduma that Chiefs had identified Rwandan goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari as a possible signing in this transfer window, with the Soweto giants yet to make an official announcement on the future of veteran short-stopper, Itumeleng Khune whose contract is coming to an end this week.

Ntwari has done well in his first season in Mzansi with eight clean sheets in the DStv Premiership in 18 matches.
The 24-year-old finished 8th on the clean sheets' charts in the league in his 18 matches, and was tied with exactly the same numbers with Bruce Bvuma whom he could be set to compete with for the number one jersey in the new season, while another Chiefs goalkeeper Brandon Petersen had four clean sheets in eight matches.
With former Mauritania national team goalkeeper coach Ilyes Mzoughi, who is expected to be announced by Chiefs in the same role, being already in Naturena, the club is working around the clock to finalise assembling the goalkeeping department.

Siya sources have indicated that Chiefs have opened talks with Ntwari, with a view of making him one of the acquisitions in what is expected to be a new look Amakhosi side.
With Nasreddine Nabi expected to arrive at Chiefs next week to start his coaching duties, the Soweto giants could be set to finalise player discussions to unveil new signings in the coming weeks.
Soccer Laduma contacted Chiefs for comment but no response was received by the time this report was published.
