Well-travelled May Mahlangu could be back in contention for competitive football after a two-year absence, with a club in the PSL.
Mahlangu, 35, has been unattached since parting ways with Kazakhstani outfit, FC Aksu in 2022.

The Secunda-born midfielder was previously linked with Cape Town City, but nothing concrete came out of the reported interest from the Mother City club.
According to Siya sources in KwaZulu-Natal, the well-travelled player has had his name bandied about regarding a potential move to AmaZulu as the club is aiming to reinforce in line with plans to compete for a Top Four finish in the upcoming season.
"AmaZulu are aware of May Mahlangu's situation as a free agent, and enquiries have been made on his availability," said the source.

AmaZulu president Sandile Zungu recently confirmed that the club will be unveiling new signings at the end of the month.
Out of over 10 clubs that Mahlangu has played for in his career, none are from the PSL as the Stars of Africa Football Academy graduate has been plying his trade overseas since he launched his professional career in 2008 with Helsingborgs.
