An insider has provided an update on Kaizer Chiefs and the club's reported target, Pule Mmodi.
Recent reports have suggested that Mmodi is understood to have signed a pre-contract with the Soweto giants as he nears the end of his contract with Abafana Bes'thende.

The winger's existing deal with the KwaZulu-Natal club is set to expire at the end of June.
Despite the attempts to have the 29-year-old's contract extended, the Lamontville-based outfit hasn't yet been successful in tying the Bafana Bafana international on a new deal.
While recent local media reports have suggested that Mmodi might have already penned a pre-contract with Chiefs, insiders have indicated to the Siya crew that the player has not yet made up his mind regarding the potential next move.
"There is no such thing, the player has not signed a pre-contract with Chiefs or any other club for that matter," said the source.

"He is focused on finishing the season on a high with Arrows and everything to do with his future will be decided at the end of the season," the source concluded.
Chiefs have been linked with Mmodi since the end of last season.
However, as reported by the Siya crew last month, Amakhosi appeared to have withdrawn their interest in the attacker, with the club having since only announced signing Thatayaone Ditlhokwe from SuperSport United on a pre-contract.
Chiefs' rivals Orlando Pirates is another club that the highly-rated player has been linked with in recent times.
