The Siya crew has been led to believe that SuperSport United are open to keeping a striker that joined the club from Mamelodi Sundowns earlier this season.
Abubeker Nasir joined SuperSport after an injury ravaged spell at Sundowns, but is yet to make an appearance for the club after going through rehabilitation for an injury he had picked up.

The Ethiopian international, who signed a contract until the end of June, is not expected to play for the club this season, with SuperSport looking at the possibility of giving him an opportunity next term. He is highly rated at the club, but a lot is likely to depend on his recovery process.
Speaking to the Siya crew recently, SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews said: "We are looking more to full rehab for next season. His injury was serious. We will see how he progresses."
The player has been training with his teammates and the club is closely monitoring him to see how much progress he makes, before they make a decision on whether or not to keep him beyond this season.

The Siya crew understands, however, that the club is open to keeping him, knowing how much quality he has.
SuperSport, meanwhile, have to make a decision on the futures of players such as Thulani Hlatshwayo, Siphesihle Ndlovu and Bradley Grobler, while they are likely to enter into discussions with Sundowns over Ricardo Goss, who is on loan.
