December has been a tough month for Marumo Gallants and the Siya crew has it on good authority that Dan Malesela will be back on the bench in January.
Sundra Govender and Duncan Lechesa have been in charge of the last two matches after Malesela was placed on "special leave" by the club, but things have not gone well for the club.

Govender was initially appointed as an additional assistant to Malesela, with the club stating that the appointment was "part of the club's strategic plan to strengthen the technical department".
Govender and Lechesa, however, were given the reigns after Malesela was placed on "special leave", but they've had no success in getting positive results.
They were hammered 8-1 by Orlando Pirates at Orlando Stadium a day before Christmas and suffered a 1-0 defeat to Sekhukhune United in Polokwane over the weekend.
The Siya crew has been informed that club chairman Abram Sello has called Malesela to return to the club and is expected to be on the bench in January as Gallants look to improve on their results.
Before placing Malesela on special leave, Gallants were making steady progress with victories over Magesi FC and SuperSport United. They had also secured a victory over AmaZulu and a draw against TS Galaxy.

To ensure they do not sink further into a hole, it appears Gallants have acted quickly to get Malesela back in charge of the team
Gallants will start the new year with a clash at home to struggling Richards Bay on Saturday and then they will host Cape Town City on January 11. It's a perfect opportunity to start the year on a high against two clubs that have been stuttering this season.
