A European move is being bandied about for a Bafana Bafana defender who has had a good season at his club and in the national team.
Ever since he joined Turan Tovuz in Azerbaijan in August, Siyanda Xulu has managed to revive his career, having been without a club since parting ways with Israeli club, Hapoel Tel Aviv in March last year.

The defender played a huge role in helping Bafana to qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations with his performances under Hugo Broos who is one of his admirers.
This season, the centre-back has amassed 24 appearances for the Azerbaijani side despite being disrupted by a shoulder injury at some stage which saw him miss four matches.
Xulu was the scorer of one of his team's goals as they won 2-1 against FK Qabala in their most recent match.
News reaching the Siya crew is that the 31-year-old has attracted interest from Turkey and Serbia.
"I can confirm that there is an offer tabled for Siyanda from clubs in the Premier League in Turkey and Serbia. The player's representative Lebogang 'Guluva' Mashishi of B N International Sport Agency recently flew out of the country in order to meet the clubs' officials and to start the discussions," confirmed the source.

"Siya has been impressive in Azerbaijan and he even scored the winner recently against top side Qabala. In Turkey, top agent Judes Bussombo from BJF Sport Management is the one in charge of the deal. The clubs' names cannot be disclosed to protect the interests of the player," concluded the source.
