Abubeker Nasir, the Ethiopian forward, has signed a one-year contract with a PSL club, after expectedly leaving Mamelodi Sundowns, the Siya crew has been informed.
Nassir's agent, Steve Kapeluschnik, revealed to Soccer Laduma that his player has signed for SuperSport United. This comes after Sundowns coach Manqoba Mngqithi discussed how Nasir may be training at SuperSport, as reported by the Siya crew.

Kapeluschnik has stated that a deal has been finalised and that the Ethiopian has made the move from neighbours Sundowns to Matsatsantsa on a permanent basis.
"Yes, he has signed there for one season. He is at SuperSport United right now. He is their player," Kapeluschnik confirmed to Soccer Laduma.
Earlier in the off-season, former Brazilians coach Rulani Mokwena had indicated that the Ethiopian was no longer with the Brazilians, but the player soon returned to training with the Gauteng team.
On Tuesday night, after Sundowns' 4-1 win over Marumo Gallants in the Betway Premiership, coach Mngqithi did not confirm whether Nasir had signed with SuperSport.

Nasir, who had joined Sundowns in 2021 from Ethiopian Coffee, has not featured as much as he would have liked in the PSL.
Now, his move to SuperSport United marks a new chapter in his career where he will be looking to make a significant impact and prove his potential.
Soccer Laduma contacted SuperSport United on the reported signing of Nasir but the club had not responded by the time this article was published.
