Unfinished Business With Big Three For Kapinga?

The 29-year-old has been without a club for a few weeks after parting ways with Orlando Pirates last month.

Having previously also played for Mamelodi Sundowns, the attacker is said to be keen on proving his worth at one of the Big Three again, with Kaizer Chiefs understood to be the club he would like to don the colours of one day.

"Lesedi Kapinga has been unfortunate with lack of game time at Pirates and Sundowns but that doesn't mean he is not a good player. He is grateful to Sekhukhune United for the opportunity and platform to showcase his talent and he wants to make the best use of it," said the source.

"He signed a one-year contract with an option to extend for another year with Sekhukhune and he will work hard to revive his career at the club. He had big hopes when he signed for Sundowns and things didn't work out as planned there and he hoped that the Pirates move would be the best for him. What I can tell you is that the boy loves Kaizer Chiefs and he would like to go there if an opportunity comes. That's what he will be working towards achieving now that he's got this opportunity at Sekhukhune," the source said.
