Collins Mbesuma has landed himself a new role for the new season with a club in the DStv Premiership, the Siya crew has been informed.
In December last year, Mbesuma began a new career as a coach and specialising with sharpening the skills of strikers as seen at Motsepe Foundation Championship side Pretoria Callies.

The move seemed to work as he and the rest of the technical team managed to help the second tier side to move from the bottom of the log and up to 10th at the end of the season.
The highly rated Zambian parted ways with Callies at the end of the 2022/23 campaign as part of the massive changes made by the club, following the exit of Kwanele Kopo who was the head coach, as well as veteran administrator Peter Koutroulis who served as the football manager.
For the upcoming season, Mbesuma has surfaced at Sekhukhune United where he is expected to serve as a strikers' coach in the first team.
Mbesuma is regarded as one of the best strikers of all-time in Mzansi's topflight, with his memorable season being the 2004/05 with Kaizer Chiefs where he scored 35 goals in all competitions.
The 25 league goals he netted that season remain the highest tally by any player in a single season in Mzansi's elite division.

Babina Noko aim for further progress in the DStv Premiership after finishing seventh in the previous campaign and having played in the final of the Nedbank Cup.
The Johannesburg-based Limpopo outfit wants to leave no stone unturned in preparing for the new season, with the team set to also play in the CAF Confederation Cup hence the appointment of Mbesuma, among other changes.
