Sekhukhune United defender Daniel Cardoso says "emotions will flare" when he comes up against his former side Kaizer Chiefs over the weekend.
Cardoso was one of the players whose contracts were not renewed by Chiefs in their rebuilding process last season after spending seven years at the Soweto giants without a trophy.

Sekhukhune moved swiftly to add his experience in their roster and ahead of their DStv Premiership clash on Saturday, Cardoso says Amakhosi will always be in his heart but on the day "emotions will flare".
"Ja, Chiefs will always be in my heart, they will be emotions same as first round clash. I mean going to FNB, playing against them in my old home stadium it's definitely emotions are gonna flare," Cardoso told reporters at the club's open media day.
"But on the day it's not gonna happen, I enjoy that kind of pressure, people being on your back, it's actually a nice time to come up.
"We have to get the three points, there's no doubt about it, just to solidify ourselves in the top eight," he said.

Babina Noko made history by qualifying for the Nedbank Cup semi-finals for the first time, where they will meet with Stellenbosch.
The 34-year old versatile defender also entertained the prospect of meeting Chiefs, who are also in the semi-finals against arch-rivals Orlando Pirates, in the Nedbank Cup final and suggested that beating Amakhosi in the final would add a "cherry on top".
"Congrats to Sekhukhune first of all, it's making history for them also and it will be a very nice final if we do meet Chiefs, we can take the victory," he said.
"I think it will just add a cherry on top but I don't want to think ahead, we still got this fixture coming up in the league and that's still in the future," he added.
