Not many South Africans have played in the top-flight of Spanish football over the years, but another name is set to be added to the list in the coming days.
According to Siya sources, Banyana Banyana star, Jermaine Seoposenwe, is on the verge of completing a move to a side in Spain's Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino as she seeks to take her career to new heights following her time in Lithuania with Gintra Universitetas.
The 26-year-old attacker had an exciting 2019 as she made her debut alongside her Banyana teammates at the FIFA Women's World Cup, but also got her first appearance in the UEFA Women's Champions League with Gintra.
Now, as former Samford University star looks to take things to the next level, the Siya crew has been informed that she is set to complete a move to Spain shortly, with a move set to be finalised in the coming days.
Seoposenwe will become the latest Banyana player to play in the Spanish top-flight following Ode Fulutudilu's spell with Malaga, and she'll be eager to hit the ground running as soon as possible as the second half of the Spanish season continues in the coming weeks.
