Mihlali Mayambela has been a regular for Farense in the Portuguese Segunda Liga over the past two seasons, making a name for himself in Portugal and attracting interest from elsewhere in Europe.
Now, after missing Farense's last three games this year, the Siya crew has been informed that he has penned himself a contract with Israeli outfit, Bnei Yehuda Tel Aviv, as they look to bolster their attack and move up the Ligat ha'Al.
It is thought that the 23-year-old has signed a loan deal until the end of the season as he returns to top-flight football in Europe after spending time in the second tier of Swedish and Portuguese football in recent years.
Prince Arnold Hanson, of DERS Group - Mayambela's agency, said of the move, "We wish him all the best in his new adventure… It's a different atmosphere but he's a top and a tough guy. He'll overcome the obstacles and be at the top. Just like he's working hard for the best, we are also working extra hard for great moves."
With 15 league goals to his name since 2017, Yehuda – the former club of Bafana Bafana international, Dino Ndlovu – will be hoping that 'Maya' can add some much-needed firepower to their ranks for the remainder of the 2019/20 season, while they also have an option to buy him on a permanent basis if all goes well.

Mihlali, the younger brother of Cape Town City's Mark Mayambela, will be hoping to get his paperwork finalised in time to make his debut against Beitar Jerusalem this weekend, although that game may come too soon for the former Cape Town All Stars man.
