Rulani Mokwena hit back at a faction of the Wydad Athletic supporters after they shared their disapproval on the introduction of Cassius Mailula, who netted the winner for the Moroccan giants against FUS Rabat.
Mailula was introduced in the 58th minute of the match as matters remained deadlocked between the two sides, although there were some jeers from supporters around the stadium.

The on-loan attacker would however choose the opportune time to get his first goal in Wydad colours as he netted the winner, handing Wydad their first win over FUS in over two years, and a much-needed three points for Mokwena's side.
After the match, Mokwena was full of praise for Mailula and defended him against criticism from fans.
"The best thing is when they say, 'no Cassius' but Cassius scores and he creates two opportunities and the one that was disallowed was also from Cassius," he said in a post-match press conference.
"Sometimes we see why we are coaches and why there are supporters. In some games, we get it right and in some games we get it wrong. Most of the time we get it wrong, but when we get it right it feels good. I'm proud of the effort from the players," he added.
Mokwena's latest win sees his side climb as high as fourth on the log standings, six points behind leaders RS Berkane after nine matches played.
