Pitso Mosimane remains optimistic about his side's fortunes despite suffering back-to-back losses in his opening two matches as Esteghlal head coach.
The 60-year-old was aware that taking over the seventh-placed Iranian giants would be no walk in the park.
But by his own admission, he had no clue of just how big the task was to turn around the club's fortunes having sat in the dugout in his first two matches in charge of the club.

Despite their slow start, Mosimane has maintained his faith in his side, although he is looking to freshen up his playing personnel in a hope to bring in much needed reinforcement both in defence and attack.
"I never thought that it is the way that it is," Mosimane told journalists after his side's loss.
"I knew that they were struggling, but not like this. But somebody had to come here, and it's me. We can't all run away, but we know why we are where we are.
"You can see we need more players so that they can help us. It's so simple in football - you need to stop conceding goals and you need to score goals, it's very simple," a visibly deflated Mosimane said.
