Having suffered an injury in Bafana Bafana's AFCON qualifiers against Congo last month, there has been some positive news for Burnley forward Lyle Foster.
Foster would get on the scoresheet for Hugo Broos' men in the 5-0 drubbing; however, he would be stretchered off the field after colliding with goalkeeper Christopher Mafoumbi. He suffered an injury to his left knee and was subsequently sent for scans for further analysis.
His club coach feared the worst at the time, but subsequently revealed that the issue was not as bad as initially anticipated.
"Initially we thought there was a big injury there in terms of how we saw it on camera, but that's not the case," Burnley's head coach Scott Parker recently told members of the media.

"But for sure Lyle will be out for some weeks. At this present moment in time we will keep monitoring it, keep managing it and see how quickly we can turn it around because we need him," he continued.
Now, the latest news reaching the crew's desk is that Foster is set to return in early December, which will be a boost for both Burnley and Bafana Bafana.
Foster has scored one goal and set up one assist in eight matches played for the Clarets this season.
