The protracted saga of Percy Tau's future looks set to come to an end with reports stating that Al Ahly have informed the player on their final decision on his future.
It is an open secret that Tau's contract with Al Ahly is nearing its last six months.
The 30-year-old has spent the last three years turning out for the Egyptian giants, where he has achieved great success with more than 10 trophies to his name in that period.
But all indications are that the glory days for Tau at Al Ahly have come to an end - this is after reports stated that Tau was among two players who were informed of the club's decision not to renew their contracts for the new season.

Amr El Soulia is the other player who is set to leave the club.
The reports further stated that in an attempt to salvage some of the approximately R32 million they spent in getting Tau to the club from Brighton Hove Albion - they plan to sell him in the upcoming January transfer window.
Despite being one of the club's best players both in the Egyptian Premier League and the CAF Champions League, it is understood that the Egyptian side has been left disappointed by Tau's decline in performances as well as the breakdown in his relationship with head coach Marcel Koller.
