Samir Nurkovic's lawyer Davor Lazic has suggested Royal AM might have misinterpreted CAS's letter that their FIFA transfer ban has supposedly been uplifted or suspended.
Royal AM released a statement on Wednesday announcing that their FIFA transfer ban has been "automatically uplifted and suspended" after receiving a response from CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) from their appeal. The letter was addressed to Samir Nurkovic's lawyer, Lazic too.

However, Lazic says from his reading of the letter, that the FIFA ban still stands.
"I got the same letter from CAS (and) I didn't see anything suspended. I think again it might be an attempt from the club to mislead the public and this time I suppose they would like to mislead (the) football association (SAFA) as well," Lazic said on Metro FM Sports.
"It doesn't say that in the letter. That's their interpretation of the letter of CAS. There's no quotation marks (in Royal AM's statement).
"Everything is still the same. I didn't see that any ban is lifted," he said.
In response, Thwihli Thwahla's lawyer Leruma Thobejane read out the letter on the same interview on air and affirmed their stance.
"Let me read it to you: 'According to CAS jurisprudence, a decision of a financial nature issued by a private association is not enforceable while under appeal'," Thobejane went on to read the letter from CAS.
"How clear can this letter be?" he asked.
"I don't have to interpret anything," he added.
CAS and FIFA are expected to respond to clear up the matter on how Royal AM should proceed in the transfer market.
