Now, news reaching the Siya crew is that the club looks set to engage veteran winger Elias Pelembe, regarding a contract extension.
Insiders have revealed that Royal values the player's impact and experience, and that a one-year deal looks set to be on the table.
Indications are that talks with the 39-year-old is understood to take place in the coming weeks.
"His current contract is only ending next year in June. When he joined the club in July 2021 he signed a three-year contract which is expiring on June 30, 2024," a source informed the Siya crew.
"So now the team wants to keep him for another year, which will mean he can stay at the team until 2026. He hasn't signed yet. It's the team that is offering him that one-year contract. So we will wait and see if he agrees and signs," the source added.
