Royal AM head coach John Maduka has opened up about the four changes he made just before the break against Orlando Pirates.
The KwaZulu-Natal suffered their first defeat of the season after going down 4-2 to the Buccaneers at Orlando Stadium.

However, Royal AM conceded three goals in the opening 30 minutes, which prompted Maduka to make a quadruple change.
"We thought it was time to introduce those fresh legs, young boys that can be able to go forward, that can be able to compete in the field of play and I think it worked well for us," Maduka told SuperSport after the game.
"Siya on the other side, the left-back he did very well. The young one also in the middle did very well. I think we have that energy level going forward but 3-0 not easy especially when playing away from home against a team like this but the boys showed character, we didn't give up.
"We're not a team that gives up until we manage to score. We pushed the game to 3-2, maybe the time was not on our side, when you try to push forward that's when you open. Very good second-half but very disappointed with the way that we conceded," he said.
Maduka was also pleased with how the side improved in the second half against the Soweto giants.
"We were much better, we closed the space they wanted to exploit and again we played more as a unit in the second-half and we knew that in the second-half they would drop because of the tempo that they set in the first half," he said.
"We were much better in the second-half in defence, the concentration was a little better than in the first half."
