He claims to be partners with Real Madrid President Florentino Perez and recently put his money where his mouth is by pledging R100 million in sponsorship to Richards Bay FC, but who is Thabiso Tenyane - the PSL's latest big spender.

Tenyane shocked those in attendance as he boldly declared his plans for the sponsorship of Richards Bay for the next three seasons.
The groundbreaking R100 million sponsorship, which is broken up into R20m for three seasons and a further R40m purse for infrastructure and development of the club's facilities undoubtedly raised eyebrows, with Tenyane revealing that he plans to invest in the area in which he will be building his latest gas plant.
"I'm in the energy sector. People know Florentino Perez as the owner of Real Madrid. He is my partner in energy for 15 years. So there is a lot I'm going to be flying down to him to learn as to how this thing is being done. The value of so in South Africa cannot be lower compared to the Premier League (in England) or La Liga. This is the same thing. It's the same sport. There is something we are not doing right that needs to be done right," Tenyane told journalists at the Richards Bay sponsorship launch.
"For me, soccer is also a business. So what I will share is my leadership and commitment in terms of resources. So I'm not coming to run Richards Bay, right, but I'm coming to capacitate, for the chairman of Richards Bay to have all the tools and the necessary people here require for him to be a winner," he said.
