Marumo Gallants Relegated, Swallows Clinch Top 8
Marumo Gallants were relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship after suffering a 2-0 defeat to Swallows FC on the final day of the season.
Fresh from their CAF Confederation Cup action, Gallants had their fate in their own hands as they knew a win would seal their top-flight status for another campaign.
Swallows, meanwhile, were in with a shout for a top eight position after their recent form took them out of the relegation zone.
The Limpopo outfit did not have all their way though, as Swallows took the lead shortly before the break when Lindokuhle Mtshali found the back of the net.
The Dube Birds went on to seal the win late in the second half, with Mtshali completing his brace on the day and condemning Gallants to the second tier of South African football.

Chippa United Rescues Top Flight Status
Chippa United will be in the DStv Premiership next season after playing to a goalless draw against Golden Arrows.
The Chilli Boys came into the contest without top scorer Etiosa Ighodaro, who was left out of the squad completely.
The home side knew that a win or draw would take them out of the drop zone, as they sat one point adrift of safety and with a betetr goal difference than Maritzburg United.
The hosts were unable to find the back of the net but secured a point which took them out of the relegation zone due to their better goal difference, as Maritzburg United drop into the play-offs.

SuperSport To Compete In Confederation Cup
SuperSport United had to settle for CAF Confederation Cup following a 1-0 loss to Sekhukhune United on Saturday afternoon.
SuperSport came into the clash needing AmaZulu to do them a favour if they had any hopes of finishing second.
However, they did not do themselves any favours when Sekhukhune opened the scoring through Edwin Gyimah's impressive header against his former side.
Gavin Hunt's were unable to find a way back into the contest as Sekhukhune held on to secure the win, which sees them end the season in seventh position.
Stellenbosch End On A High With Galaxy Scalp
Stellenbosch ended the season in sixth position after defeating TS Galaxy 2-1 at the Danie Craven Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Steve Barker's charges opened the scoring on 17 minutes, with Devon Titus getting on the end of Fawaaz Basadien's free-kick to slot home.
The Rockets would get back on level terms shortly after the break when 37-year-old Lindokuhle Mbatha bagged his first of the campaign with a close-range finish.
That joy did not last long as the influential Mendieta restored Stellenbosch's lead after being set up Basadien on 51 minutes, which proved to be the winning goal.
Stellies end the campaign in sixth spot while the Rockets finish in tenth place.
Richards Bay Royal AM Share The Spoils In Dead Rubber
Richards Bay and Royal AM could not be separated in their final game of the season after playing to a goalless draw on Saturday afternoon.
The Natal Rich Boyz ended 13th in their debut season in the top-flight, as they end the season winless in their last 15 matches.
Royal AM, meanwhile, finished the campaign in 11th position, five points adrift of the top eight.
