A lamentation of Bloemfontein Celtic's demise has continued as Lorenzo Gordinho, who was loaned to the club from Kaizer Chiefs in 2018, weighed in on the matter.
Gordinho has had two former teams disappear from professional existence after he joined Danish Superligaen side Viborg in September 2020 on the back of Bidvest Wits' status being sold to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila.
The 28-year old had just been nine months at the club at Sturrock Park and another one of his former sides, Celtic ceased to exist, a season later while he was in Viborg, after they sold their status to Royal AM.

The Benoni-born defender had a loan spell at Siwelele from January 2018 after he struggled for game-time at Chiefs under former coach Steve Komphela.
Gordinho, who has recently signed with Cape Town City on a three-year contract, says it saddened him to see a club with such a big history and following in the city being dispensed with while he was in Denmark.
"It's sad to see, from a footballing person, everyone related to football, I mean Celtic was such an experience and one that I'll never forget," the former Amakhosi defender said on Metro FM Sports.
"It was a club that resonated with the whole city, everybody in that city loved that team, it was very sad but there are lot of things in football and in life you can't control.
"And God forbids that such a history within the PSL and ja it was also very sad, I had not been here long before they sold their status."
Gordinho knows the pain of being told that the club is up for sale after his experience at the Clever Boys and went on to highlight that from the players' perspective, it also destabilizes their careers.
"I was there for six months. You know the big thing for clubs and also for us as players we had to now go and look for the next opportunities," he said.
"Like I said, we just can't wait and sit, we don't know what is to come, we have to obviously look at what's in the table, what do you see for yourself, based on what is in front of you," he added.

There has been reports that Marumo Gallants are planning to revive Celtic by relocating to Bloemfontein and rebranding the team with support from the Free State government.
Gallants swiftly refuted those claims made by an unidentified speaker, who addressed a gathering, in a video that went viral on social media, reading out a message allegedly from Bahlabane Ba Ntwa Chairman Abram Sello, stating his intention to resurrect Siwelele through relocation and rebranding.
Gallants are no stranger to rebranding the club after they wiped out the TTM brand to it's current name in June 2021, following the acquisition of the status by Pharmaceutical businessman Sello.
