In two Nedbank Cup games Orlando Pirates defender Sandile Mthethwa scored two important goals.
First in the quarterfinals against Dondol Stars, Mthethwa scored the winning penalty. Then in the semifinals he netted the extra time winner against Kaizer Chiefs after a good cross from diminutive midfielder Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo.

Mthethwa spoke to the Siya crew on Wednesday, at a Media Open Day, and he said that he has a great understanding with Ndlondlo because they talk a lot and that their communication is good.
"Yes, it's true me and Ndlondlo talk a lot. Our communication is good. It doesn't just start on the day of the game."
"We communicate in training and we talk a lot as well outside the game. It also happened that against Kaizer Chiefs we both came in as substitutes and he provided that cross from where I scored.
"It happened against Chiefs and also against Sekhukhune United in a league game but unfortunately I didn't score. But above all, I am happy and honoured that I was one of the players who contributed to the team to reach the Nedbank Cup finals. You know it is always teamwork and that's what has taken us this far," Mthethwa observed.
Mthethwa is preparing for the big game on the weekend, as Pirates take on Sekhukhune United in the Nedbank Cup final on Saturday.
