A young and talented midfielder who had hoped for a switch to Orlando Pirates might have to wait a little longer before realising his dream.
In June last year, Pirates confirmed the signing of Azola Matrose from Chippa United along with Miguel Timm, Evidence Makgopa and Bienvenu Eva Nga.

Of the four players, only Timm has managed to play regularly, while Matrose was loaned back to the Chilli Boys.
The plan had been for Matrose to get regular game time to prepare him for the first team at the Buccaneers for the 2023/24 season.
However, things haven't gone according to plan for the 20-year-old after his progress was disrupted by injury.
Matrose has been out of the matchday squads at the Chilli Boys since he picked up an injury in January in a game against Cape Town City.
"For Azola, he is still young and there is no rush on him. Yes, it was disappointing that his season was cut short by injury and the only hope is for him to come back stronger," said the source.

"Chippa is keen to keep him on another season-long loan deal but Pirates will make a decision. The good thing is that the two clubs have a good relationship and there shouldn't be any difficulties," the source added.
