Orlando Pirates have been added to the number of clubs interested in the services of an in-form midfielder who has been called up for Bafana Bafana, according to sources.
The Siya crew reported that midfield strongman Sibongiseni Mthethwa has had several clubs in the DStv Premiership showing interest in his services, following his sublime performances for Stellenbosch FC.

Mamelodi Sundowns, SuperSport United and Royal AM are some of the clubs understood to be keen on the 27-year-old defensive midfielder.
News reaching the Siya crew is that Pirates have become the latest club to show interest in the Ox, as Mthethwa is known in football circles, with Stellies expected to be inundated with enquiries for the player.

"Pirates is interested in Sibongiseni Mthethwa from Stellenbosch, and he is one of the players that the club would like to add to the team. Although it might not be in this transfer window but expect the club to make an offer for the player as he has been identified as a transfer target," said the source.
Mthethwa is contracted to Stellenbosch until 2024, according to information made available to the Siya crew, having joined the club in January on a two-and-a-half-year deal.
