Further injuries have been confirmed for Bucs stars this week after Richard Ofori had to be withdrawn from the Ghana national team travelling to Qatar for the World Cup, while Nigerian defender Olisa Ndah was pulled out of the squad to face Portugal in an international friendly on Thursday due to injury.

Furthermore, for the better part of the season, Bucs have been without attacker Thembinkosi Lorch, owing to injury.
With the next match on December 31 against Mamelodi Sundowns, Pirates coach Jose Riveiro will hope to have his first regulars available for selection as the team will be attempting to move up the DStv Premiership log.
Meanwhile, Pirates currently have Monnapule Saleng, Miguel Timm and Zakhele Lepasa in the Bafana Bafana squad to play international friendlies against Mozambique and Angola on Thursday and Sunday respectively at the Mbombela Stadium and Bucs coach will hope that the trio comes back not injured.
