The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in the DStv Premiership over a week ago and Maela says they will be ready for any kind of approach from Sekhukhune whether they will be defensive or attacking on the day, with the aim of winning their second trophy in the 2022/23 season after the MTN8 glory earlier in the campaign.
"When we prepare this week, we will prepare for any scenario. We will prepare for a team that will come at us since it's a cup final but we will also prepare for a team that we will sit back and try to play counter attack," said Maela, speaking to the media.

"But like (Miguel) Timm has said, right now and throughout the week, the focus will be on us, the focus will be on our mental toughness to make sure that we are ready to compete and win the match. So, yeah, I mean, look how they approach the match we'll have to see after the kickoff but I'm sure every individual will be ready as a team to make sure that we counter attack and make sure that we win," the defender added.
Meanwhile, Bucs will be without midfielder Makhehleni Makhaula for the fixture, owing to suspension after accumulating four yellow cards, as confirmed by the league.
