There has been an update on Gilberto as games are coming think and fast for Orlando Pirates in their 2024/25 campaign.
Following their disappointing 0-0 draw away from home last weekend, Pirates will face Disciples from Madagascar in the second leg of their CAF Champions League first preliminary round match on Friday.

With the Buccaneers aiming to proceed to the next round for an improved campaign this time around after the disappointing early exit of last season, head coach Jose Riveiro is expected to field a strong team at Orlando Stadium like he did on Sunday in Mauritius.
Among the players itching to play is Delvi Miguel Vieira, who is better known as Gilberto, and an exciting attacker who was signed from Angolan club Petro de Luanda in June.
According to sources, the 23-year-old has been impressive at training and appearing to be ready to get off the mark in his Bucs career.

"He is fine and working hard. He is a good player, and like everyone else, is waiting for his chance. He looks ready," said the source.
Pirates are still expected to be without several players who continue to recover from respective injuries, including experienced defenders Tapelo Xoki and Paseka Mako, and striker Zakhele Lepasa, among others.
