An Orlando Pirates player is linked with a move to DStv Premiership opponents as the transfer window deadline looms.
According to sources, Sandile Mthethwa who is yet to feature in any match under coach Jose Riveiro has attracted interest from Chippa United, having previously did well for the Eastern Cape outfit.

Mthethwa has had three spells with the Chilli Boys on loan and indications are that the team would be open to having him back again as part of the attempts to further improve their season after a disappointing start.
Chippa currently have Azola Matrose and Ronaldo Maarman on loan from Bucs who are doing well and are keen to further strengthen with Mthethwa, according to sources.

However, a decision on the 25-year-old centre-back would depend on the Buccaneers who have not indicated if they will be making the player available on loan.
Mthethwa is facing strong competition from Nkosinathi Sibisi, Olisa Ndah and Tapelo Xoki, among others, for a place in Riveiro's team.
