Rooi Mahamutsa could make the long awaited return to the line-up for Orlando Pirates this weekend, following his return from an injury.

Mahamutsa last played an official game for Pirates during the 2-1 win over Ajax Cape Town in February. The centre back was substituted at half time of that game with Tshepo Gumede, after injuring his hamstring.
With Edwin Gyimah suspended for the game with Jomo Cosmos on Sunday, Eric Tinkler might have to call the experienced Mahamutsa to help out in central defence, possibly alongside Ayanda Gcaba.
Mahamutsa, 34, has made seven league starts for Pirates this season. Depending on his fitness, having recently returned to full training with the team, the Standerton-born player could be one of the players attempting to get Bucs to the quarter-finals of the Nedbank Cup on Sunday.
Another option for Tinkler and his technical team would be to move Happy Jele to partner Gcaba in central defence and bring in Ntsikelelo Nyauza at right back.
But with Thabo Matlaba having returned from Bafana Bafana with a knock, there might be no chance for that particular switch.

Gumede might be ready for a chance in the starting line up again to add to his four starts so far this season, if called to do the job for the Buccaneers.
