Daine Klate netted four goals as Bidvest Wits thumped Magesi FC 6-0 in their Nedbank Cup Last 16 tie at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Sibusiso Vilakazi returned to the line-up and should have handed Wits the lead in the third minute but the midfielder headed over from close range.
The visitors eventually broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute courtesy of a superb first-time finish from Daine Klate inside the 12-yard area.
Wits' lead was doubled two minutes later, as Siyabonga Nhlapo's cross was unfortunately turned home by Baroka defender, Seete.
Gavin Hunt's charges continued to dominate and extended their lead five minutes before the break, as Klate netted his second with a powerful right-footed finish from 12-yards out.
Magesi registered their first meaningful effort at goal shortly after the break, as Nhlabathi showed good skill to beat his marker, before rifling an effort just wide of the upright.
The ABC Motsepe League outfit struggled to create openings in the second half but Wits grabbed their fifth goal in the 79th minute, as Vilakzi fired a low effort in off Maduwa.
Klate rounded off the scoring in the 81st minute, as the winger rose well to head home is fourth and Wits' sixth goal on the night.
