Patrick Phungwayo could be set for another chance to make an appearance in the line-up for Orlando Pirates on the weekend.

The left back, who has struggled to cement his place in the starting line up at Bucs since his arrival at the club, made good progress to improve his situation before he was disrupted by illness.
He made four consecutive starts in the league for Pirates, before he was disrupted by abdominal cramps. Thabo Matlaba has been due to be assessed by the medical team at Pirates, having returned from Bafana Bafana with injury worries.
Depending on his availability, Phungwayo might be ready to continue from where he left off by replacing Matlaba, should the Bafana international fail the late fitness test.

The Buccaneers are travelling to Olen Park Stadium for the Nedbank Cup last 16 game with Jomo Cosmos on Sunday.
