Stellenbosch FC striker, Ryan Moon, caught up with SLTV from the comfort of his own home to share how life on lockdown has been and how he caught the football bug.
From a young age, the 23-year-old was highly active and played many sporting codes as a youngster. Rugby, cricket, and football were all avenues he could have progressed further into, however, he chose football as his game of choice.
With an older brother, Bryce Moon, who played for some of South Africa's top clubs as well as abroad, his decision was made easier by the example set by his sibling.
Once he was scouted by Maritzburg United while in Grade 11, his professional career started rapidly.
The Pietermaritzburg-born player also explained what went wrong during his time in Europe and what he still aims to achieve in this career.
