Although born in Limpopo, his parents decided to move to Johannesburg when he was a two-year-old.

ABC Motsepe outfit, Baberwa FC, was where the 26-year-old earned valuable experience as a teenager, including playing in the annual Bayhill Premier Cup before he left to join another ABC Motsepe team, Highlands Park.
Once he arrived in 2014, that same season, the Tembisa-based club earned promotion to the GladAfrica championship and since then, he hasn't looked back.
