VV Believes Pirates Can Salvage Their Season

VV Believes Pirates Can Salvage Their Season
Former Mpumalanga Black Aces winger, Thabo Qalinge, recently joined Orlando Pirates and with only two training sessions with the team, he was given the chance for his debut in a Bucs jersey against SuperSport United in the MTN 8 quarterfinals on Saturday evening.   After the match, Pirates coach, Vladimir Vermezovic, told the Siya crew that he was impressed by Qalinge's performance in his first game.    VV said that Qalinge is still young and full of energy to perform for his team.   "I am impressed with what I have seen in Qalinge. He has just trained with us twice but he gelled very well with his teammates and that's why we needed him in the team. He is young and talented and has a lot to offer to the team which is very important," Vermezovic concluded.   Pirates saw off SuperSport United 2-0 to book their semi-final berth alongside holders, Platinum Stars, Bidvest Wits and Kaizer Chiefs.    Join Fellow Supporters In Fan Park, Click Here!
