On Sunday afternoon Kaizer Chiefs meet Mpumalanga Blaces in the quarterfinals of the MTN8 and Amakhosi defender Tefu Mashamaite has said that they will give Aces a tough time this time around.
In their last encounter at the FNB Stadium, Aces pulled off a 1-0 win over Chiefs in a league encounter.
Mashamaite told the Siya crew though that it's not about revenge, but that they need to win this one.
"Aces are a very good side and they have added some good players to their squad but when they come to FNB this afternoon we will give them a tough time," the former Wits captain said.
"We won't allow them to play. We want to start the season on a high note and winning this first MTN8 game and qualify for the semi-finals will be great.
"It won't be a walk in the park but it's do-able and we want to go all the way until the finals and win the MTN 8.
"To achieve this we have to start by winning the first game, which in this case is against Aces."
