On the official Kaizer Chiefs website, "Masha" conveyed sentiments of unison and focus within the team as they prepare for the semi-final encounter.
"We have to remain mentally switched on if we are to maintain the momentum we are building," stated Masha.
"We have three wins in row but, it's still too early to read anything into that. The only thing we need to be reading on is ensuring our heads are firmly on our shoulders."
The lofty defender also commented on the hoodoo status of Platinum Stars, who've caused the Soweto giants a headache or two in previous encounters, especially when playing at their home stadium.
"Stars' hoodoo status is a media intervention. The best favour we can do for ourselves is not to read too much into that."
The Chiefs star further cited his sides' approach to the two legged semi-final fixture against Stars.
"We will approach the two legs just as we would any other game. Nothing more, nothing less with the same application we've displayed in other fixtures we've played, " said the highly-charged defender.
