AmaZulu head coach Romain Folz bemoaned his side's slow start to the MTN8 final against Orlando Pirates on Saturday evening.
The KwaZulu-Natal were unable to clinch their maiden MTN8 title after going down 1-0 to the Buccaneers at the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Folz also expressed disappointment with amount of stoppages in the game as they struggled to carve out chances in the opening 45 minutes.
"I think we did a poor first half, it was much better in the second one, we were able to be on the ball much more and create more chances," Folz said on SuperSport after the game.
"I regret that the fact that game was stopped, to my watch 12 minutes but even if you don't consider that the first-half from our side not good enough.
"We were not active enough on the ball to try to create situations where we can put them in trouble in their half, so I think the second-half was much better, if we were able to do two halves like the second-half it probably gives different results," he said.
When asked about Ramahlwe Mphahlele's withdrawal in the first half, Folz added, "Pretty much the same thing that happened to (Lehlohonolo) Majoro when we played against them four weeks ago, he got hit on the head, so it's a concussion process.
"He had to step our because he was very dizzy, he didn't know where he was, so ja that's what happened.
"I think a draw would have been a fair result honestly if you look at the content of the game itself but congratulations to Pirates, next time we play them we will try to be the better team."
