Orlando Pirates defender, Patrick 'Boca' Phungwayo, says that fellow defender, Happy Jele, will be one of the most important figures when the Buccanneers take on SuperSport United in the MTN8.
Pirates are fresh off their Carling Black Label Cup success over arch rivals Kaizer Chiefs, to mark their first piece of silverware for the 2014/15 PSL season.
SuperSport got the better of Bucs on both occasions in the 2013/14 Absa Premiership season, however, Bucs managed to beat Matsatsantsa in the quarter-finals of last season's MTN8, as well as in the Telkom Knock-out Cup.
Bucs defender, Phungwayo, has tipped his fellow defender, Happy Jele, to play a major role in Pirates' attempts to re-enact last season's win over SuperSport.
"We lost to them twice in the league, but we beat them twice in cup competitions. Everyone is pumped up to beat them again. No one looks hungrier than Jele though. He has recovered quickly and he will be vital for us," said Phungwayo.
Orlando Pirates host Matsatsantsa at the Orlando Stadium later today with the encounter scheduled to start at 20:15.
