Orlando Pirates are expected to issue an update on one of the key players in coach Jose Riveiro's squad ahead of the crucial match this coming weekend.
The Buccaneers will be travelling to Durban to face AmaZulu in this year's MTN8 final on Saturday and concerns for the team have been over defender and team captain Innocent Maela who sustained an injury in the Soweto Derby this past weekend against Kaizer Chiefs.

In the Witbank-born player's place, Riveiro introduced Paseka Mako who went on to finish the match.

While Bucs haven't officially communicated any details on the extent of Maela's injury, it would be a big blow for the team if the player was to miss the final.
Maela has been outstanding throughout the season, having started in all 15 matches for the team in all competitions so far in the campaign.
Mako and Tapelo Xoki are some of the players that would be considered should there be a need for the technical team to make changes in defence for Usuthu clash.
