Following his side's 2-1 win over Mamelodi Sundowns in an MTN8 quarterfinal match on Saturday, Platinum Stars' Mduduzi Nyanda admits he is feeling at his best.
Nyanda was not a prominent fixture in the Stars team last season due to fitness issues, but following a 'man of the match' performance at Loftus stadium against the 2013/14 Absa Premiership holders he proved he was back at his prime.
Nyanda was a key figure for Dikwena as he won the penalty that led to the opening goal and was a constant threat in attack throughout, also hitting the post in the 73rd minute.
"I am feeling at my best," said Nyanda.
"It was the first game, but we really tried, we worked hard as a team and I am happy we won.
"I have to play my part in the team, I have to work hard, go forward, put crosses into the box and try win the game for the team."
Nyanda added that his side are not getting ahead of themselves and are only focussing on their next game.
"We still have to work hard. It is just the first game and we must not get ahead of ourselves – we will just try and win our next game," concluded Nyanda.
