Eric Tinkler Is Aware Of Threat Wits Can Pose

Orlando Pirates assistant coach, Eric Tinkler, has no delusions regarding his side's anticipated MTN8 semi-final clash against Bidvest Wits.

Despite Orlando Pirates' 2-1 victory and dominant performance against SuperSport United, particularly in the first half of the MTN8 quarter-final fixture played over the past weekend, the Bucs mentor continues to show caution after drawing Wits earlier yesterday at the MTN8 draw.

Speaking to the Orlando Pirates official club website, Tinkler pointed out the strengths of their semi-final rivals.

"This is going to be a tough match against a well organised outfit. Wits have strengthened their team this season so we can expect a different proposition to that we faced in May, but we look forward to a great game," said Tinkler.

The semi-final fixture will be a repeat of the Nedbank Cup final which was played earlier this year with Pirates being crowned as champions following their 3-1 dispatch of the Clever Boys.
